I was going through some of my old things and found a dozen or so poems I had written years ago. Some expressed things I realized I still haven't gotten over and others showed me how far I have come. A few days ago it was brought to my attention for the second or third time that I have been referred to as a spoiled brat. First off I would just like to say, fuck you. I refuse to feel guilty about being able to afford certain things.
Now to the heart of the matter.
Yes, daddy bought me a car. A nice one. But you know what daddy couldn't buy me that really matters? Brains and a strong sense of self-worth. Both those things lead me to receiving a merit based scholarship to a four year university where I entered as a sophomore. I have career goals that are well within reach and I don't fear what lies ahead.
